The Medi-Fridge Portable Micro-Refrigerator IIx (MF-MRIIx) is designed for refrigerating medicine vials such as Humulin®, Humalog® and Lantus® insulin, and other injectable medicines in prefilled pens such as Byetta® (Exenatide) and Forteo®. Travel – Travel often exposes medicines to extreme temperatures: Luggage compartments, Hotel rooms (when guests are out of the rooms, climate control is often turned off), Taxis, Airlines, and other forms of transportation.
Work and Home– Many work environments reach extreme temperatures; even climate controlled areas can be shut off at the end of the business day. Most people prefer privacy for their insulin storage, rather than placing it in a “shared” refrigerator. Similarly, there may be temperature and privacy issues at home.
Vehicles and Outdoors – Vehicle temperatures can exceed 100°F within minutes when the a/c is turned off. Refrigerated medicine storage is needed for Autos, Trucks, Boats, RV’s, and Motorcycles, as well as outdoor activities.

Uses:

Refrigerates up to six (6) standard 10 mL insulin/injectable medicine vials OR two (2) prefilled injectable pen. Includes both a UL certified 110-240V (AC domestic power) worldwide power cord AND a 12V DC auto socket power cord. Thermoelectric technology cools 40° below ambient temperature; the unit is pre-set at the factory to turn off around 40° F to avoid freezing.
